Johnas Walker Prescott & Bertha Mae Knights-Prescott

Bertha Mae Knight Prescott was born on October 15, 1913, to Reverend Eddie and Pearl Knights, who have since passed away. She was the eldest of seven children. Whether she was affectionately known as "mother" or "grandmom," her early years were spent in Milhaven, Screven County, Georgia.

It was in Milhaven that Bertha Mae crossed paths with Johnas Walker, and their love story began to unfold. They sealed their commitment in marriage on October 21, 1929. The blessings of God showered upon Johnas and Bertha, and they were blessed with fourteen children.

Little did they know that their love would transcend time, giving rise to five generations and counting. This website serves as a testament to their enduring love and God's unwavering favor and blessings across the ages. Their love story, which began in the past, continues to flourish today and will undoubtedly carry on through future generations of their loving family.

A relative of Bertha Knights Prescott has additional information about the Knights and our ancestors, which can be found by clicking the button below.

“We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.”
